Manoj's Kumar's second film as hero in the direction of Dasarath is titled as 'Sri'. Producer Mohan Babu arranged a press meet on this occasion to share the details of progress -

Producer Mohan Babu said, "80% of the shooting of this film is complete so far. The director and hero have collectively decided to title this film as 'Sri'. We are currently shooting a song in choreography Ashok Raj. There are six songs in this film and we roped in choreographers like Bosco Caesar, Shankar, Kalyan and Ashok Raj to compose steps. One song was shot in Mauritius. Manoj gave exceptional performance in a scene where he confronts the villain. It reminded me of my performance of confrontation with villain in Assembly Rowdy film. Footage worth 2000 feet would feature me in a guest role of flashback episode in this film. Popular writers like Paruchuri brothers, Satyanand, Kona Venkat and Gopi involved a lot in preparing this script.

Heroine Tamanna said that she is lucky to have worked in a film that is being produced by such a disciplined producer like Mohan Babu. She is playing the role of a sweet girl next door.

Sunil said he is doing the role of hero's friend. He opined that the hero's introduction scene in Sri would only second that of Nagarjuna's introduction in Shiva.

Director Dasarath said, "Shooting of 80% of film is complete. Manoj possess great potential as an actor and he is a dedicated artist. This film would possess all elements like love, action, sentiment and comedy"

Comedy actor Rajesh said that he is impressed with the way Manoj did stunts in this film without the help of ropes. He thanked Mohan Babu for being a caring producer.

Brahmanandam said that he acted in 5-6 scenes of the film and all those scenes came out to be very hilarious.

Hero Manoj thanked Dasarath for helping him out. He also thanked the entire cast and crewmembers.
