Dolby Atmos Event at Asian Cinemas Attapur M-Cube Mall on 16 Dec 2015 This event is regarding the launch of High End Audio System from Dolby lab’s DOLBY ATMOS.

About Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos makes it easy for filmmakers to place or move specific sounds anywhere in the movie theatre, including overhead. As a result of this multi-dimensional sound, audiences feel as if they are inside the film, not merely watching it. Dolby Atmos is the first of its kind and gives viewers an immersive audio experience that transports them into the movie.
Since its introduction in the cinema in 2012, Dolby Atmos has been embraced by all major Hollywood studios, 14 Academy Award winning directors and 27 Academy Award winning sound mixers, among others. Today, there are more than 1200 Dolby Atmos screens in more than 40 countries with more than 300 exhibitor partners. In India alone, there are more than 150 Dolby Atmos screens, excess of 125 regional and Bollywood titles and 11 mix facilities.
Dolby Atmos has received technical achievement awards from both the Hollywood Post Alliance and the Cinema Audio Society. As the inventors of the only object based audio format used in cinema today, Dolby is working closely with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers in driving adoption of standards for object-based audio.

ఏషియన్ థియేటర్స్ ఛైర్మన్ నారాయణదాస్ నారంగ్ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘’పైరసీ ఎక్కువవుతున్న ఈ రోజుల్లో ప్రేక్షకులను థియేటర్స్ వైపుకు అడుగులేయించడానికి ఇటువంటి టెక్నాలజీని తీసుకువచ్చాం. ప్రేక్షకులకు మంచి ఫీల్ ను పొందుతారు’’ అన్నారు.
డి.సురేష్ బాబు మాట్లాడుతూ ‘’ నేను ఇలాంటి సౌండ్ టెక్నాలజీ ఉన్నందుకే ఏషియన్ థియేటర్స్ లో సినిమా చూడటానికి ఇష్టపడతాను. నిజానికి ఈ సౌండ్ టెక్నాలజీ మన తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఆలస్యంగా వస్తుంది. అందుకు కారణం మన దగ్గర టికెట్ రేట్స్ ఫిక్స్ డ్ గా ఉండటంతో యాజమాన్యాలు ఎక్కువ ఖర్చుతో ఇలాంటి టెక్నాలజీని తీసుకురావడానికి ఆలోచిస్తున్నాయి. ఇలాంటి టెక్నాలజీలో 32 ఛానెల్స్ లో సౌండ్ వస్తుంది. ప్రేక్షకులు మంచి అనుభూతికి లోనవుతారు’’ అన్నారు.
