‘The attacks of 26/11’ is the most expensive film by Ram Gopal Varma in recent times. Ram Gopal Varma has become a budget director these days with the use of less-expensive filmmaking techniques. But he is alleged to have spent around 25 crores on a film in which only Nana Patekar is the popular actor. The Taj hotel set erected is said to have cost around 4 crores. He has also acquired permission to shoot in real locations like CST (erstwhile known as VT – Victoria Terminus). He is said to have used 2000 junior artist in CST to make it look real. This film is releasing worldwide on 1st March. The Telugu version ‘26/11 India pai daadi’ will release a week after that!
