On the first glimpse of the recently released trailer of Bheeshma, the impression you get is that the film is going to be a regular mass masala flick, complete with every element that comprises a formula film. A hero, a heroine he can chase, a villain, an iota of good and some punching and hitting is surely what you see in a lot of films and this Nithiin starrer surely ticks all the boxes. And if done right, will work well too.

Nithiin does team up with director Venky Kudumula who last scored a hit with Chalo and it is expected that the director could follow up the success. Rashmika too has been on a high and has been the flavor of the season so it might just work well too. Notably, she is seen in a glamourous avatar in the film, something which is not very commonly attributed to her.

Music by Mahati Swara Sagar is surely something that could help the film because he does manage to push the visuals to another level with some interesting background score.

The bottom line though, is that the trailer conveys that the film is out there to be a crowd pleaser! But isn’t that the case with most commercial formula films? One hopes there will be a story that will hold and an approach that will standout to make this film a success.
