Pandora Box – Origin: (Greek mythology) it’s a box that Zeus gave to Pandora with instructions that she not open it; she gave in to her curiosity and opened it; all the miseries and evils flew out to afflict mankind.

Context:  A source of many unforeseen troubles or in other words it marks the beginning of the end.

Story:  At the age of 19, everyone thinks they are adults. But seldom do they realize that they are just adolescents not adults. Here are some common symptoms of an adolescent. Easily loosing cool, Talking more and listening to less, judging others and of course overly confident, to name a few. Raghu played by Naga Shourya fits the bill to the tee. Son of a small time tailor from a village called “Gollapalli” in the suburbs of Hyderabad, Raghu is a rash youth. He gets in to a tiff with an old lady over her teenage Granddaughters on one of his blissful days. He challenges the old lady that it would only take 2 minutes to elope with one of her granddaughters if he really wants to. That obviously enrages the old soul naturally followed by yelling and screaming.

Having made a “mangamma Sabadham”, his goal now is to trap one of the three girls who are just 14, 15 and 16 years old respectively. Having a loud grandmother, it is only obvious that the three granddaughters are mellow and naïve and one of them is Gauri, played by Isha Ranganath.  With his actions, he opens up a Pandora box of plague and that creates a tornado in the lives of everyone involved.  In the larger aspect of the universe, what part of life is truly under once control?

But no matter how hard life hits you, it always gives you a second chance. And when it does, will Raghu be ready?

Naga Shourya and Isha Ranganath have seamlessly adapted to the environment of their respective characters. These two actors are destined to make their presence felt with Chandamama Kathalu (period).

Title track of the film is getting huge response from the general public as a soulful melody. Stay tuned in for second song release shortly.

అది ఒక చిన్న పెట్టె...జ్యుస్ పండోర కి ఇస్తూ మరీ మరీ చెప్పాడు,ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లో దాన్ని తెరవద్దు అని;కాని అందులో ఏముందో అనే కుతూహలం తో పండోర తెరిచి చూసింది;అంతే ఆ పెట్టె లోంచి చెడులు,బాధలు బయటకు వచ్చి మనుషుల మీద ప్రభావాన్ని చూపించాయి...వద్దని వారించిన పని ని కుతూహలం పట్టలేక చేస్తే అనవసర కష్టాలు తప్పవు అని చెప్పే గ్రీకు పురాణం లోని ఒక చిన్న కథ.

ఇలాంటి కథే ఎనిమిది కథల “చందమామ కథలు” లో ఒకటి...
అది హైదరాబాద్ కి దగ్గర్లో గొల్లపల్లి,అక్కడ ఒక చిన్న టైలర్,అతనికో కొడుకు...పేరు రఘు,వయసు 19,అందరు పంతొమ్మిదేళ్ళ కుర్రాళ్ళ లాగే మనోడు ఎవరి మాట వినడు,పడడు...ఇక పెద్దోడిని అయిపోయానని అనుకుంటాడు,ఎక్కువ మాట్లాడతాడు తక్కువ వింటాడు,ఊరికే కోపం తెచ్చుకుంటాడు,అన్నీ తనకే తెలుసు అనుకుంటాడు...ఇలాంటి పొగరుబోతు కి ఒకరోజు ఒక ముసిలావిడ తో పెద్ద గొడవ; తన ముగ్గురు మనవరాళ్ళ వెంట పడుతున్నాడని ఆమె,వాళ్ళకంత సీన్ లేదని ఇతను,మాట మాట పెరిగింది...ఏం జరిగిందో ఏమో మనోడు మంగమ్మ శపధం చేసేసాడు,నేను నిజంగా లేపుకెళ్ళాలంటే నాకు పట్టేది రెండే నిముషాలు,దమ్ముంటే ఆపుకో అన్నాడు;

ఆరోజు నుంచి మనోడి ఏకైక లక్ష్యం 14,15,16 వయసున్న ముగ్గురు మనవరాళ్ళలో ఒకరిని లేపుకెళ్ళడం,అంత అంత నోరేసుకొని అరిచే నానమ్మ ఉన్న ఇంట్లో పెరిగిన వాళ్ళంటే బహుశా సాఫ్ట్ అయ్యి ఉంటారు,ఆ ముగ్గురిలో ఒకరైన గౌరీ ఖచ్చితంగా అలాంటిదే,కొంచెం సిగ్గరి.

అనుకున్నట్టు గానే రఘు గౌరీ ని కలిసాడు,వద్దు అన్న పనిని అదేపనిగా చేసాడు...తర్వాత ఏమైంది..? పండోర పెట్టె లాంటి కష్టాన్ని తట్టి,తెరిచిన తర్వాత అది వారిద్దరి జీవితంలో ఎన్ని ఉత్పాతాలు సృష్టిచ్చింది? ఎన్ని ముప్పతిప్పలు పెట్టినా బతకడానికి హోప్ ఇచ్చే విధంగా జీవితం ఎప్పుడూ నీకో సెకండ్ ఛాన్స్ ఇస్తుంది,అలా ఇచ్చినప్పుడు రఘు రెడీ గా ఉన్నాడా? ఏమో చూద్దాం..!

రఘు గా నాగశౌర్య,గౌరి గా ఇషా రంగనాథ్ వారి పాత్ర పరిసరాలకు,స్వభావాలకు వారినివారు సరిగ్గా మార్చుకున్నారు, వీరిద్దరూ “చందమామ కథలు” కోసమే ఇన్నాళ్ళు వాళ్ళను వాళ్ళు మలుచుకుంటూ వచ్చారా అన్నంత సరిగ్గా సరిపోయారు.

ఇప్పటికే టైటిల్ సాంగ్ రిలీజ్ అయి,మంచి స్వీట్ మెలోడి గా అందరి మనసులో మెదులుతోంది,త్వరలో వచ్చే రెండో పాట కోసం వేచి ఉండండి...
