Sujana Rao made her directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Gamanam the previous year, a film produced by noted cinematographer VS Gnanashekar. Gamanam was an anthology film .

Gamanam, which had dialogues by noted writer Sai Madhav Burra, was in the news for its music by Ilaiyaraaja.

Now, the director-producer duo is all set to reunite for another film. the cinematographer will bankroll his second feature film under Kali Productions. The film will be formally launched in the coming weeks. The cast, crew and other details will be announced shortly.

VS Gnanashekar, who collaborated with filmmaker Krish for films like Manikarnika, Kanche, Gauthamiputra Satakarni, is currently working on Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He is also doing a film in Bollywood with Vidyut Jammwal in the direction of Sankalp Reddy, titled IB 71, besides working with Jayam Ravi in Tamil. It is worth mentioning that the cinematographer only picks specified projects. So, we can expect that this movie will be one of its kind movie.

విఎస్.జ్ఞానశేఖర్ దర్శకుడు క్రిష్ తో కలిసి మణికర్ణిక, కంచె, గౌతమిపుత్ర శాతకర్ణి వంటి సూపర్ హిట్ చిత్రాలకు సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ అందించారు. ప్రస్తుతం బాలీవుడ్ లో విద్యుత్ జవాల్ మరియు దర్శకుడు సంకల్ప్ రెడ్డి తో ఐబి 71 చిత్రానికి వర్క్ చేస్తున్నారు అలాగే తమిళ్ లో జయం రవితో ఒక సినిమా చేస్తున్నారు. సెలెక్టెడ్ గా కథ బలం ఉన్న సినిమాలను చేస్తూ వెళుతున్నారు జ్ఞానశేఖర్.
