There is a stir of anticipation amongst fans and viewers to watch R Madhavan and Anushka Shetty togetherafter a long time. The duo, last seen in the 2006 Tamil title Rendu, will be seen as an on-screen couple after14 years in the eagerly awaited Telugu-Tamil thriller Nishabdham on Amazon Prime Video. In a candid chat,Director Hemanth Madhukar revealed how Anushka and Madhavan’s reunion in the film is an added bonusfor viewers as they immerse into the upcoming thriller.

He shares, “Initially, I didn’t know that they have done one film earlier and had been knowing each other for14 years now. But when I saw Anushka’s excitement to essay the character of a mute girl and Madhavan’scuriosity to play a musician, I was quite contended. One is handsome and the other one is cute, togetherthey are versatile actors which sparked their chemistry on the screen. When we usually workwith actorswho haven’t worked together before it becomes a challenge to direct them. However, with Anushka andMadhavan it came naturally and their chemistry was even more amazing than what I expected.”

Revealing more about the lead character’s casting, Hemanth mentioned that Producer Kona Venkatfinalized Anushka for Sakshi’s character in the film during their recent flight journey. He said, “Initially, I hadsomeone else in my mind of for Sakshi’s character. However, Kona Venkat met Anushka during his flightjourney and was quite convinced that there couldn’t be a better choice than her to essay the character. Wewere glad to reunite Anushka and Madhavan again and create this enthralling masterpiece.”

Nishabdham is a story of Sakshi, a talented artist who is deaf and mute, who gets entangled in a criminalinvestigation when she unexpectedly witnesses a tragic incident that occurs in a villa with a reputation forbeing haunted. With a team of police detectives determined to get to the bottom of the case and the list ofsuspects ranging from a ghost to a missing young girl, Nishabdham promises to be an edge-of-the-seatthriller that will keep the audience guessing until the very end.

Directed by Hemanth Madhukar Nishabdham is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and stars some brilliantactors including Anushka Shetty, R Madhavan and Anjali in the lead roles. The film marks American actorMichael Madsen making his Indian film debut and also stars Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and SrinivasAvasarala in other pivotal roles.

కొంత కాలం క్రితం విమానంలో వెళ్తున్న సందర్భంలో సినిమాలో సాక్షి పాత్ర కోసం అనుష్కను నిర్మాత కోన వెంకట్ ఖాయం చేశారు. ‘‘నిజానికి సాక్షి పాత్ర కోసం మొదట్లో నా మనస్సులో వేరే వాళ్లు ఉన్నారు. విమాన ప్రయాణ సందర్భంలో కోన వెంకట్అనుష్కను కలుసుకున్నారు. ఆ పాత్రకు ఆమెను మించిన మెరుగైన ఎంపిక మరొకటి ఉండదని నాకు నచ్చచెప్పారు. అనుష్క, మాధవన్ లను మళ్లీ కలిపినందుకు, ఒక అద్భుత కళాఖండం అందిస్తున్నందుకు మాకెంతో ఆనందంగా ఉంది’’ అని అన్నారు.

మాటలు రాని, చెవులు వినబడని ప్రతిభావంతురాలైన సాక్షి కథనే నిశ్శబ్దం. ఓ విల్లా లో చోటు చేసుకున్న ఓ విషాద సంఘ టనకు ఆమె ఊహించన విధంగా సాక్షి అవుతుంది. పోలీస్ డిటెక్టివ్ ల జట్టు ఆ కేసు మిస్టరీ విప్పేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తుంటుంది. దయ్యం మొదలుకొని తప్పిపోయిన యువతి దాకా అంతా వారి అనుమానితుల జాబితాలో ఉంటారు. నిశ్శబ్దం సినిమా మీరు మీ మునివేళ్లపై కూర్చునేలా చేసే థ్రిల్లర్. ఆ తరువాత ఏం జరుగుతుందా అని వీక్షకులకు ఉత్కంఠ కలిగిస్తుంది.
