Though it is primarily an action thriller, based on some real incidents happened between 1995 - 2005, 'Khakee' has other elements as well, which make the film a wholesome entertainer. There are many highlights in the Karthi starrer. There are many goose bumps moments in the film. The action sequences, shot in Rajasthan, will give an adrenaline rush to the audience for sure. The case, around which the film revolves, is complex and the cops take 10 years to solve it. The way it has been dealt will be very thrilling.

Rakul Preet plays a housewife, who is very cute, adorable and sometimes naughty. Her husband means the world to her. Karthi and Rakul's pair has already attracted in the song promos, trailer and audiences can't wait to see the chemistry between them unfold on screen.

Music by Ghibran, the film has been directed by H Vinoth of 'Sathurunga Vettai' fame. Umesh Gupta and Subhash Gupta of Aditya Music Pvt Ltd are the Telugu producers.

కొన్ని సినిమాల మీద అభిమానుల్లో ఎక్స్ పెక్టేష‌న్స్ చాలానే ఉంటాయి. అంత‌గా ప్రేక్ష‌కుల ఎక్స్ పెక్టేష‌న్స్ ని పెంచిన అంశాలేంటో ప్ర‌త్యేకంగా చెప్ప‌లేం. కానీ నిదానంగా త‌ర‌చి చూస్తే ఆక‌ట్టుకునే హైలైట్స్ చాలానే ఉన్నాయ‌నే విష‌యం అర్థ‌మ‌వుతుంది. తాజాగా `ఖాకి` చిత్రం విష‌యంలోనూ ఈ హైలైట్స్ క‌నిపిస్తాయి. కార్తి, ర‌కుల్ ప్రీత్‌సింగ్ జంట‌గా న‌టించిన చిత్రం `ఖాకి`. ఆదిత్య మ్యూజిక్ ప్రైవేట్ ఇండియా తొలిసారి చిత్ర నిర్మాణ రంగంలో అడుగుపెట్టి తెలుగులో విడుద‌ల చేస్తున్న సినిమా ఇది. ఉమేష్ గుప్తా, సుభాష్ గుప్తా తెలుగులో అందిస్తున్నారు. `చ‌తురంగ వేట్టై` చిత్రంతో త‌న స‌త్తా నిరూపించుకున్న హెచ్‌.వినోద్ ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం వ‌హించారు. శుక్ర‌వారం ప్రేక్ష‌కుల ముందుకు వ‌స్తున్న సినిమా ఇది. ఈ సినిమా హైలైట్స్ గురించి చాలానే చెప్ప‌వ‌చ్చు. మ‌రీ ముఖ్యంగా ట్రైల‌ర్‌లో చూపించిన‌ట్టు ఇది 1995 నుంచి 2005 వ‌ర‌కు సాగే సినిమా. ఆంధ్రా పోలీసులు, యూపీ పోలీసుల సాయంతో త‌మిళ‌నాడు పోలీసులుసాల్వ్ చేసిన ఓ రియ‌ల్ క్రైమ్ ఇష్యూని బేస్ చేసకుని తెర‌కెక్కించిన సినిమా. నిత్యం మ‌నం చూసే పోలీసులవైపు ఒక‌సారి కొత్త‌గా చూసేలా చేస్తున్న సినిమా.  ప్ర‌జ‌లంద‌రూ క్షేమంగా ఉండ‌టానికి పోలీసులు ఎంత క‌ష్ట‌ప‌డుతారో అర్థ‌వంత‌గా చెప్పే ప్ర‌య‌త్నం చేశారు.  జిబ్రాన్ సంగీతం హైలైట్ గా ఉంది. యాక్ష‌న్ సీక్వెన్స్ గ‌గుర్పొడిచేలా ఉన్నాయి. మాట‌లు ఆలోచింప‌జేస్తున్నాయి. ర‌కుల్‌, కార్తి మ‌ధ్య వ‌చ్చే రొమాంటిక్ స‌న్నివేశాలు ఆస‌క్తిక‌రంగా ఉన్నాయి.  నాన్‌స్టాప్ గా ఆదిత్య సంస్థ చేస్తోన్న ప‌బ్లిసిటీ కూడా సినిమాపై ప్రేక్ష‌కుల్లో స్పీడ్ బ‌జ్‌ను క్రియేట్ చేసింది.
