Heavy Craze for Ilaiyaraja’s First Ever Concert in USA

It has only been less than 48 hours since ticketing has started at 11 AM, on 6th Feb at Ticketmaster.com for the First Ever Live Concert by Maestro Ilaiyaraja at the prestigious Prudential Center Arena - Newark, New Jersey and the craze for the King of Music is becoming manifest.

Over Four Thousand tickets have been sold out in these two days. Denominations of $49 and $59 are sold out and the upper categories are fast selling.

From the trend of the tickets getting sold, it is also seen that several Fans of the Legend are flying in from far off places like Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, North Carolina, Boston, Virginia and so on.

Some large group of fans from Virginia have informed that they are coming in two special Buses to attend the event, as this is an occasion they want to experience and cherish forever as the Maestro casts his magic spell. And similar reports are coming in from various places in the East Coast.

Same is the case with the Mar 1st event scheduled at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Denominations of $49 and $69 are sold out and only the upper categories are left.

Meanwhile the Presenter of the New Jersey event iDream Media has launched 5 promotional videos of the Concert in Tamil and featuring Dr. S. P. Balasubramaniam, K.S. Chitra, Mano, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Priya Hemesh who all are participating in the Musical Spectacle along with many other noted Singers and Musicians. Each of the videos ends with a piece of the timeless composition of Ilaiyaraja, evoking his magic all over again. 5 more would be launched very soon.

The fact that the Maestro is performing for the first time in USA in his long and illustrious career makes the concert, rare and very special and the craze for the tickets echoes the feelings of the Music lovers.
