'Khakee' was shot in locations never seen before and they have played a key role in keeping the audiences engrossed through the film.
Talking about the locations, H Vinoth, the director of the film, says, "When we thought of making a film, based on this subject, I felt I can take a lot of freedom regarding the locations. The subject offers geographical freedom. I discussed the same with cinematographer Satyan Suryan and we decided to scout proper locations. After zeroing in on locations for two scenes in Andhra, we flew to Jaipur, where we couldn't find any location. It was when the locals said that there are good locations to shoot in Udaipur. We didn't want to wait for trains or flights and boarded a bus. I didn't expect that a big cinematographer like Satyan Suryan would travel with me in a bus. When we landed in Udaipur, we saw Aravalli Mountains, which connect five states. The locations were fresh and we felt very happy. Even the houses there looked very fresh to shoot. From there we travelled to Bhuj. The freshness on the screen is only because of those locations".
'Khakee', produced by Umesh Gupta and Subhash Gupta of Aditya Music Pvt Ltd, has been running successfully with super hit talk.
`ఖాకి` ఇంట్ర‌స్టింగ్ లొకేష‌న్స్
సినిమా చూస్తున్నంత సేపు మ‌న‌కు లొకేష‌న్లు చాలా కీల‌క పాత్ర పోషిస్తాయి. సినిమాల్లో చూసిన లొకేష‌న్ల‌నే చూపించ‌డం ఒక ప‌ద్ధ‌తి. కానీ అప్ప‌టిదాకా ప్రేక్ష‌కుడికి అనుభ‌వంలో లేని లొకేష‌న్ల‌ను క‌ళ్ల‌కు క‌ట్ట‌డం మరో ప‌ద్ధ‌తి. తాజాగా `ఖాకి` చిత్రంలో రెండో ప‌ద్ధ‌తినే అనుస‌రించారు. ఈ సినిమా కోసం లొకేష‌న్ స‌ర్చ్ చేసిన విధానాన్ని గురించి ద‌ర్శ‌కుడు హెచ్‌.వినోద్ చెప్పారు. ఆయ‌న మాట్లాడుతూ ``ఈ క‌థ‌ను గురించి అనుకోగానే లొకేష‌న్ల ప‌రంగా చాలా బాగా ఫ్రీడ‌మ్ తీసుకోవ‌చ్చ‌నే విష‌యం అర్థ‌మైంది. జాగ్ర‌ఫిక‌ల్‌గా ఓ ఫ్రీడ‌మ్ ఉన్న క‌థ ఇది. దానికి త‌గ్గ‌ట్టు తీద్దామ‌ని అనిపించింది. ఆ విష‌యాన్నే మా కెమెరామేన్ స‌త్య‌న్ సూర్య‌న్‌తో చెప్పాను. వెంట‌నే మేమిద్ద‌రం క‌లిసి లొకేష‌న్ సెర్చ్ చేయ‌డానికి వెళ్లాం. ఆంధ్రా ప‌రిస‌రాల్లో రెండు, మూడు సీన్లు తీయ‌గ‌లిగే ప్రాంతాలు చూశాం. అక్క‌డి నుంచి ఫ్లైట్‌లో జైపూర్ వెళ్లాం. అక్క‌డ దిగ‌గానే మాకు కావాల్సిన ప్ర‌దేశాలు లేవ‌నే విష‌యం కాసేప‌టికే తేలిపోయింది. స‌రేన‌ని స్థానికుల‌తో మాట్లాడితే ఉద‌య్ పూర్‌లో షూటింగ్‌ల‌కు అనువైన ప్రాంతాలు ఉంటాయ‌ని తెలిసింది. ఇక మేం ఫ్లైట్‌ల కోస‌మో, ట్రైన్‌ల కోస‌మే ఎదురుచూడ‌కుండా నేరుగా అక్క‌డి బ‌స్సులో ఎక్కి కూర్చున్నాం. పెద్ద పేరున్న స‌త్య‌న్‌సూర్య‌న్ అలా నాతో బ‌స్సులో ట్రావెల్ చేస్తార‌ని అస‌లు ఎక్స్ పెక్ట్ చేయ‌లేదు. ఉద‌య్‌పూర్‌లో తెల్లారుజామున మూడు గంట‌ల‌కు దిగ‌గానే ఆరావ‌ళి ప‌ర్వ‌తాల గురించి విన్నాం. ఐదు రాష్ట్రాల‌ను క‌నెక్ట్ చేసే కొండ‌లు క‌నిపించాయి. మాకు చాలా ఆనందంగా అనిపించింది. వాటి ద‌గ్గ‌ర‌కు వెళ్లి చూస్తే చాలా కొత్త‌గా అనిపించింది. అక్క‌డి ఇళ్లు కూడా చాలా కొత్త‌గా అనిపించాయి. స‌రేన‌ని కావాల్సిన ప్ర‌దేశాల‌ను నోట్ చేసుకుని అక్క‌డి నుంచి భూజ్‌కి చేరుకున్నాం. అక్క‌డ కూడా కొన్ని ప్ర‌దేశాలు న‌చ్చాయి. ఇలా ఆద్యంతం లెగ్ వ‌ర్క్ చేసి ఈ సినిమా కోసం లొకేష‌న్లు చూశాం. ఇప్పుడు అంద‌రూ స్క్రీన్ మీద ఫ్రెష్ నెస్ ఉంది అని అంటుంటే ఆనందంగా ఉంది`` అని చెప్పారు. కార్తి, ర‌కుల్ జంట‌గా న‌టించిన `ఖాకి` సినిమాకు హెచ్‌.వినోద్ ద‌ర్శ‌క‌త్వం వ‌హించారు. ఆదిత్య మ్యూజిక్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ సంస్థ తెలుగులో అందించింది. నిర్మాత‌లు ఉమేష్ గుప్తా, సుభాష్ గుప్తా ప్ర‌స్తుతం సినిమా స‌క్సెస్‌ను ఆస్వాదిస్తున్నారు.
