Interesting honour for Telugu short film

Shravan Katikaneni, well known for being the editor of films like Gamyam, Vedam and Anandobrahma has won an award at the recently concluded Kolkata International Festival for his film Summer Rhapsody.

Interestingly, the award has been presented to him for donning the director's cap. He was presented the 2019 Golden Royal Bengal Tiger award for the Best Indian Short Film by Mamtha Banerjee, the CM of West Bengal, at a glittering finale of the festival.

Gnana Sekhar VS, the well known cinematographer of films like Kanche and Gautamiputra Satakarni amongst several others has produced the film for which he also handled the camera. Vivek Sagar has composed the film's music score.

The team is planning to showcase the film at other film festivals too.
