Kaalicharan which is touted as a daring film that is based on real characters and real incidents that happened in 1980’s seems to be running into troubles. The first trailer released recently into media is banned. AP’s Cyber Crime Cell has sent notices to all websites and video channels that uploaded this trailer saying that the trailer is provocative and the feelings one community are being hurt due to this video. It has requested the websites to delete/block the video in the interest of peace and harmony of Hyderabad Public in particular and Indian Public in general. The moviemakers have also asked the websites to take down the video. A censored trailer will be uploaded again at a later point of time.

Kaalicharan trailer has attracted the attention of national filmmakers with Ram Gopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap mentioning special things about it. Sri Prawin directed and produced the movie. Chaitanya plays the title role
