Collecting 1 Million USD in USA is a special feat for any film/hero. Only six films (Dookudu, Eega, Gabbar Singh, SVSC, Baadshah and Atharintiki Daaredi) collected over 1 Million USD in USA so far. Mahesh Babu’s unique psychological thriller 1 Nenokkadine become 7th Telugu film to cross the 1 Million USD mark in USA. Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu is the first Telugu film ever to cross this landmark. It was the only film to cross 1M USD in 2011. We have two films (Eega and Gabbar Singh) crossing 1M in 2012. We have three films (SVSC, Baadshah and Atharintiki Daaredi) crossing 1M in 2013. Mahesh Babu is the only hero to have 3 films crossing 1M USD so far. 3 of his last four releases collected over 1M USD. The film that missed 1M mark is Businessman and it has fall short of a couple of hundred dollars.

1 Nenokkadine has become a talk of town because it has managed such euphoric collections despite of having remixed talk and unfavourable reviews. Touted as one of the brilliant films ever made in Telugu, 1 Nenokkadine has garnered positive reviews in social media as well. Now the focus shifts to next Mahesh Babu film Aagadu which will have the team of Dookudu ganging up again. This film will be a commercial seenu vaitla entertainer. It was Dookudu that started the big game in USA and Aagadu is expected to up the ante and take the USA collections to next level.
