Veteran Telugu comedian MS Narayana (63) died today (23 January 2015) at KIMS hospital, Kondapur at 9:40 am. He fell ill when he went to his home town Nidamarru to celebrate Sankranthi. He has worked as a college lecturer before entering films as writer. It was Raviraja Pinisetti who spotted his talent as a drunken comedian and gave him a break with a popular character in Rukmini film. Though he has acted in several films, it was Seenu Vytla who brought stardom to MS Narayana with a hilarious role in Dookudu film. Seenu Vytla has also sported MS Narayana in highly entertaining characters in Sontham and Dubai Seenu movies. He has directed a couple of films - Koduku (with his son Vikram as hero) and Bhajantrilu. He is survived by a son (Vikram - an actor) and a daughter (Sasikiran who made a directorial debut recently with Saheba Subramanyam). He has won Nandi awards five times. MS Narayana’s last rites will be performed his farmhouse in Vikarabad. May his soul rest in peace!

MS Narayana garu will always be remembered as a very talented and versatile artist. I am deeply saddened by his demise and convey my condolences to his family.
