Rangasthalam is doing wonderful business at box office in USA. It has crossed $2 Million by the morning on Sunday to become the 3rd quickest Telugu grosser to cross 2 Million Dollars after Baahubali franchise. There is no sign of slowing down for the film. It has collected $124,852 by 9 am PST on Sunday.
As of now, it stands as 6th highest Telugu grosser in USA after Baahubali2, Baahubali1, Srimanthudu ($2.9M), A Aa ($2.5M) and Khaidi No. 150 (2.5M). No Telugu film crossed $3M except for Baahubali. Rangastalam is going to breach $3M landmark. This film also gives a huge relief for Telugu film distributors and exhibitors who had been battered by disasters of high budget Telugu films in USA in the recent past.
Ram Charan who didn't have a proper footing in USA due to genre of films he has done earlier (except for Magadheera) has given hope with Dhruva when it collected $1.4 million in USA. With Rangasthalam he affirms his box office position in USA at par with his Indian box office dominance.
Sukumar has tremendous fan following in USA after films like 1 Nenokkadine and Nannaku Prematho, which collected $1M and $2M respectively. He is now going to breach $3M with Rangasthalam film. We don't know where this Rangastalam juggernaut will stop in USA
It's going to be a back to back million dollar films from Konidela family for USA distributor Creative Cinemas NY. They have also distributed Varun Tej's runaway hit Tholi Prema this year!
The production house Mythri Movie Makers turned out to be a production house of outstanding quality and success rate. Their first movie Srimanthudu collected $2.9M and their second movie Janatha Garage has collected $1.8M in USA. Now Rangastalam is going to collect more than $3M.
