The thing with underdogs is you don't expect a lot from them. That probably could be a reason why even when there is a small spark of positivity, we lap it up big time. Surely, that is the scene with the upcoming film Savaari, the trailer of which was recently released much to a positive response.

Directed by Saahith Motkuri and starring actor Nandu, the trailer is quite a breath of fresh air. It's interesting that an actor like Nandu who was once a budding youngster and eventually became another one of the names who tried to make it big but never quite hit the bullseye is in the limelight, thanks to the trailer that is surprisingly nice to watch.

What's notable is that the video seems to attract your attention only because it has no vast scale added to it. Through the length of the trailer, you have the feeling that something is amiss but at the same time can't stop appreciating its merits.

Exploring the rural space, skillfully combining it with the urban milieu, Savaari’s trailer makes it seem like a film to watch out for. The raw appeal of Nandu’s character, his mysterious bond with his horse Baadhsha and a runaway bride surely make for a premise that can work on screen.
