Krish has decided to cast Sonakshi Sinha as heroine of Mahesh Babu’s Shivam the moment he saw Dabangg film. He is said to have started scripting Shivam three years back. Krish told Sonakshi that he had her in his mind while writing heroine character. Krish was supposed to give her a narration for 45 minutes, but ended up giving complete narration for 3 hours as Sonakshi insisted on the detailing part. Sonakshi has decided to make her south debut only after getting impressed with the script. Sonakshi Sinha is touted as lucky heroine in Bollywood with four 100-crore films in her baggy (Dabangg, Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathorer and Son of Sardar. She has also expressed her happiness with working in such a prestigious banner like Vyjayanthi which is known for it's rich contribution to Telugu cinema with blockbusters.
