Sudheer K Varma who made his debut as director the hit crime comedy Swamy Ra Ra in 2013 had a lean phase as a director after that. His last release Ranarangam which was released in 2019 didn't do well at the box office. He is presently having 3 promising projects in hand now.

The first one is Shakini Dakini which is a remake of a Korean action drama titled ‘Midnight Runners’. This film stars Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas in the title roles. The second one is a film with Nikhil as hero and the major part of the film is expected to be shot in London. This film will be produced by Bhogavally Prasad. Nikhil and Sudheer Varma have done two films - Swamy Ra Ra and Keshava in the past. The third one is going to be Ravanasura which will feature Ravi Teja in the lead role. This film will be produced by Abhishek Nama.

Sudheer Varma has come to limelight with Swamy Rara because of his screenplay and entertaining take on action episodes. Let's hope that he will be back in form with these three films.
