India’s first youth-centric, travel musical film
In what is billed to be a spectacular blend of happening music, epic travel and irresistible fun, Sunshine Music Tours and Travels (SMTT) is the first full-length feature film to be written and directed by Shailendra Singh. “It’s a really young, fresh mix of Bombay to Goa and Zindagi na Milegi Dobara”, Shailendra quips, “With a funky music mix of Rang de Basanti emotions and a Sunburn beat.” The film releases in theaters on September 2nd, 2016. While it is his Directorial Debut, Shailendra is no stranger to the film industry. As one of Bollywood’s most prolific Producers, he has produced and released over 72 feature films and 2000 ad films in his 30 year career. He is also credited with launching the careers of many of Bollywood’s hottest talents.
In SMTT, Shailendra launches as his lead, Sunny Kaushal - the younger brother of last year’s hottest debut, Vicky Kaushal.
Shailendra says, “Excited to play a role in our SMTT journey, Mr Sham Kaushal also came on board as Action Director to choreograph Sunny’s gritty, urban fight scene. Sunny is a focused and emotive actor, and sure to be a big hit with the ladies, as well.”
But the Director says that the real hero of the film - produced by Hayre Entertainment - is actually the notion that ‘dreams really do come true’, if you want them bad enough. The story is based around a group of young and trendy strangers from very diverse backgrounds, who come together in order to chase after one very big dream. “There are about 14 unique, charming characters,” says Shailendra. “Each person in the audience will fall in love with a different crazy, mad character.”
Both the teaser launch and the official trailer launch of SMTT on July 25th have seen massive industry support for both the film and its Writer/Director. Mr Nana Patekar was the guest of honor for the event, as friend and supporter of Shailendra and the star lead, Sunny Kaushal. Online, industry favorite like Shahid Kapoor and Varun Dhawan shared the teaser, while even Rajdeep Sardesai sent his congratulations to the Debut Director.
The film releases in theaters on Sept 2, 2016.

30 ఏళ్ల కెరీర్ లో 72 చిత్రాలు, 2,000 యాడ్ ఫిల్మ్స్ ను నిర్మించాను. అలాగే బాలీవుడ్ కు ఎంతో మంది న‌టీన‌టులు, సాంకేతిక నిపుణుల‌ను ప‌రిచ‌యం చేసాను. ఇన్నాళ్ల అనుభ‌వంతో ఫ‌స్ట్ టైమ్ స‌న్ షైన్ మ్యూజిక్ టూర్స్ అండ్ ట్రావెల్స్ అనే చిత్రాన్ని తెర‌కెక్కించాను.
ఈ చిత్ర క‌థ గురించి చెప్పాలంటే...బాంబే టూ గోవా, జింద‌గీ నా మిలేగి దుబారా వంటి చిత్రాల‌కు కొన‌సాగింపులా ఉంటుంది. క‌ల‌లు నిజం అవుతాయి అనే సామెత‌ను నిజం చేస్తూ...ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించిన హేరె ఎంట‌ర్ టైన్మెంట్ ఈ చిత్రానికి నిజ‌మైన హీరో. భిన్న నేప‌ధ్యాల‌తో ఆధునాత‌న భావాలు క‌లిగిన యువ‌కులు ఒక పెద్ద క‌ల‌ను అనుస‌రించ‌డం పై జ‌రిగే క‌థాంశంతో ఈ చిత్రం రూపొందించాం. ఈ చిత్రంలో 14 ప్ర‌త్యేక‌మైన ఆక‌ర్ష‌ణ క‌లిగిన పాత్ర‌లు ఉన్నాయి. ప్రేక్ష‌కుల్లో ప్ర‌తి ఒక్క‌రు ఈ పాత్ర‌ల‌తో ప్రేమ‌లో ప‌డ‌డం ఖాయం. ఈ నెల 25న ఈ మూవీ టీజ‌ర్ & ట్రైల‌ర్ ను రిలీజ్ చేసాం. నానాప‌టేక‌ర్, ష‌హిద్ క‌పూర్, వ‌రుణ్ ధావ‌న్, రాజ్ దీప్ స‌ర్ధేశాయి త‌దిత‌రులు టీజ‌ర్, ట్రైల‌ర్ చాలా బాగుంది అంటూ అభినందించారు అన్నారు.
