Comedian Rahul Ramakrishna maybe the funny man on the big screen. But he sure has a serious side to him that is seen by anyone who follows him on social media. The actor, who rose to fame with a role in Arjun Reddy, has no holds barred when it comes to raising his voice for or against contemporary issues.

If there is anything in the news, you’d see him give a very insightful opinion. And he sure as well knows how to give back to naysayers. In what is now a failed attempt, a Twitter user had a lot of mean things to say about his looks. In fact, the netizen went ahead to compare him to many people who have taken up blue-collar jobs like a tea seller and a driver amongst others. But a witty Rahul turned the tables and pushed the guy to delete his tweet! He replied, “Thank you for this description. I’m delighted that I look like honest, working class citizens of this land. (sic)”

This invited several “kudos” messages for the actor from many netizens. Most of them encouraged him to keep raising his voice as usual and to take such naysayers “lit ga”.

For the people who don’t know, Rahul was a journalist who covered civic issues and politics before he turned a full time actor. Well, now we know where his rebellious streak comes from.
