V becomes the first major Telugu release that's choosing the path of OTT. Today the unit has announced that V will be releasing on 5 September through Amazon Prime Video OTT platform. Initially, it was slated for theatrical release on 25 March and was postponed on 15 March due to impending coronavirus scare. Mohana Krishna Indraganti who started off his journey with a black and white film Grahanam is entering into the new delivery platform with his latest film V. Incidentally it's 25th film for Nani, one of the heroes of this film. Nani plays a negative role and Sudheer Babu plays a positive role in this film. PG Vinda who is a regular cinematographer for Mohana Krishna since Grahanam handles camera. Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Hydari play female leads. Songs are composed by Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi and background score is done by music director SS Thaman. Producer Dil Raju who has a vast theatrical network had to opt in for digital release because of covid-19.
