PVP Cinema's Varna has generated immense buzz in the film fraternity as well as the general public. Venue for the audio launch, Shilpa Kala Vedika, was packed one hour before the event and many enthusiastic fans were turned away as there was not even standing space in the auditorium. After a long gap, Anushka is playing a titular role, this combined with the awe inspiring visual effects and Sri Raghava's reputation of dishing out entertaining fare has created a high degree of expectation.

The theme of love and fantasy was high-lighted throughout the audio launch event and the audience experienced a nostalgic ride with clippings of earlier blockbusters with the same theme. Varna audio has a combination of both foot tapping numbers and lilting melodies, the teasers gave an inclination of what to expect in terms of the visual grandeur and entertaining plot. PVP cinema has come up with a true magnum opus that has both the trade and the public waiting in anticipation. Varna is scheduled for a worldwide release on the 22nd of November.
