Karan and Vijay's relationship has been progressing into a close one over time. A special show of the actor's Dear Comrade was screened for the Bollywood filmmaker ahead of release and he not only loved it but also gave a heavy recommendation on social media whilst considering remaking it. It is unknown if the remake is happening at this point considering the film didn't do well at the box office.
