About the film:

This is Jandhyala's comedy, refreshing among the recent spate of comedy films. Jandhyala perennial spring of humor making, finds a new outlets in this film. The film coming in Vinayaka Chaviti season has Vinayaka Rao (Naresh) as the hero, whose marriage runs into obstacles right from the beginning as that of Lord Ganesh himself.

Rallapalli, Naresh's father sends his son to the town to return after landing up in a job and becoming self-supporting. Vinayaka Rao reaches Vizag, and joins a humble employment in a factory, but is tempted by him employer Chitti Babu (Maharshi Raghava)to take up a challenge of marrying a total stranger, a beautiful girl. Chittibabu offers Vinayaka Rao a job of company manager with good salary if he could love that girl and marry her in a month.

Vinayaka Rao takes up the bet and goes into action right away. But his very first move leads him into a comedy of errors. According to his father's wish, Vinayaka Rao meets a friend of his father, Narayana Rao, a resident of Vizag. But doing so, he actually meets another Narayana Rao who is the next door neighbor of the correct address and what is more, the girl Deepika (Mayuri) whom his employer Chittibabu challenges Vinayaka Rao to marry, happens to be the daughter of the same wrong person Narayana Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) whom Vinayaka Rao meets.

But unfortunately, Vinayaka Rao earns the wrath of all the important Narayana Rao by his own indiscretion. He ultimately meets the correct address. Narayana Rao (Gollapudi) who is his father's friend and settles in his house, next door to the other Narayana Rao.

The two neighbors who were at once fast friends become inimical to each other due to misunderstanding. Vinayaka Rao, who is torn in between the warring neighbors, somehow or the other tells of his love to Deepika. Deepika's wedding is already fixed with Chitti Babu and she does not know that he is a womanizer. Vinayaka Rao, who now knows the plan of Chitti Babu to use him as the cat's paw, attacks him and redce him to the pulp. Deepika now wiser to Chitti Babu's wily nature agrees to run away with Vinayaka Rao and marry him secretly. The two neighboring Narayana Raos forget their enmity and the film ends happily with the three marriages of Vinayaka Rao and Deepika, Brahmanandam and Shilpa, Shyam Sundar (Achyut) and Bharati (Vara Lakshmi).
