Bay Area Telugu Association (BATA) celebrated “New Year – 2018” in a grand style. The event was co-sponsored by “People Media” group.

The events presenting sponsor was popular realtor Ramana Reddy (Cal Homes).

Other sponsors include Prasanna (My Tax Filer) & Dr Kamlesh Jinjuwadia (East Bay Dental)

Media partner Virijallu promoted the event.

The auditorium was very well decorated with new year festive look. The audience started coming from 7:00 pm onwards and they were dressed in dazzling costumes with vibrant colors.

BATA youth team presented some nice foot tapping dance numbers. BATA Karaoke team presented live music concert with super hit songs.

Various games were organized on the stage like Hula Hoop, Best Dressed couple, Best dancer etc. And the audience thoroughly enjoyed the fun filled activities.

Swagat Indian cuisine catered mouthwatering dinner with Telugu favorite dishes.

Tollywood Actor Nikhil was the chief guest for the evening; he congratulated BATA team for putting together very entertaining show & interacted with the audience taking pictures and selfie’s. He also answered few questions from audience.

Two DJs spinning Hindi and Telugu songs added frenzy to the event and people dances away till1.30 and midnight toast and balloon drop added beauty to the event.

Speaking on the occasion Sirisha Battula (President) thanked BATA team members & all the volunteers for their hard work and making the event a grand success.

Sirisha introduced BATA executive committee consisting of: Yaswanth Kudaravalli (Vice President), Sumanth Pusuluri (Secretary) Harinath Chikoti (Treasurer) and Kondal Rao (Joint Secretary).

“Steering Committee” consisting Ravi Thiruveedula, Kamesh Malla & Kalyan Kattamuri.

“Cultural Committee” includes Sridevi Pasupuleti, Srilu Veligeti & Taraka Deepti.

“Logistics Team” includes Prasant Chinta, Arun Reddy& Varun Mukka.
