Chicago: Large number of people of Indian origin, attended a spectacular parade in the US town of Naperville to mark India's 70th Independence Day.

Naperville India Parade saw over floats, dozens of walking groups and marching bands perform in the nearly 2 mile parade, which commenced from Naperville Central High School and concluded at Knoch Park in Naperville on Sunday.

Chicago Telugu Association and NATS members actively participated and setup a float and encouraged the participants. Members of Chicago Telugu Association participated various cultural programs during this event.

CTA team including its executive members Madan Pamulapati, Rajesh Veedulamudi, Pandu Chengalasetty, Bindu Balineni, Kiran Ambati, Venkat Damuluri, Laxmi Bojja, Venkat Thota, Vinoth Balaguru, Venkat Makkena, Naren Sharma and large numbers of Telugu people participated at the event.

నాట్స్, సీటీఏ ఆధ్వర్యంలో చికాగోలో స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవ సంబరాలు

ఏ దేశమేగినా ఎందుకాలిడినా పొగడరా నీ తల్లి భూమి భారతిని అంటూ ఉత్తర అమెరికా తెలుగు సంఘం నాట్స్ తన జన్మభూమి ఎప్పుడూ స్మరిస్తూనే ఉంటుంది. ఈ క్రమంలో మాతృభూమి భారత దేశ 70వ స్వాతంత్ర్య వేడుకలను చికాగోలో ఘనంగా నిర్వహించింది. స్థానిక చికాగో తెలుగు సంఘం సీటీఏతో కలిసి నాట్స్ ఈ స్వరాజ్య సంబరాలు జరిపింది. చికాగోలోని నాపర్ వెల్లి లో సెంట్రల్ హైస్కూల్ నుంచి నాక్ పార్క్ వరకు రెండు మైళ్ల దూరం ఇండిపెండెన్స్ డే పేరేడ్ నిర్వహించింది. డజన్ల కొద్ది వాకింగ్ గ్రూప్స్ ఈ మార్చింగ్ బ్యాండ్స్ ఈ పేరేడ్ లో పాల్గొన్నాయి. నాట్స్, సీటీఏ సంయుక్తంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని దిగ్విజయం చేసేందుకు పక్కా ప్రణాళికతో వ్యవహరించాయి. సీటీఐ ఈ సందర్భంగా సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. సీటీఏ కార్యవర్గ సభ్యులు మదన్ పాములపాటి, రాజేష్ వీడులముడి, పాండు చెంగలశెట్టి, బిందు బాలినేని, కిరణ్ అంబటి, వెంకట్ తోట, వినోద్ బాలగురు, వెంకట్ మక్కెన, నరేన్ శర్మ తదితరులు స్వాతంత్ర్య దినోత్సవ వేడుకల్లో తెలుగు ప్రజలను సమీకరించారు. రెండు మైళ్ల దూరం పాటు నిర్వహించిన ఈ పేరేడ్ లో భారతపతాకం రెపరెపలాడింది. భారత మాతాకి జై అనే నినాదాలు మారుమ్రోగాయి.
