NATS (North America Telugu Society) Dallas chapter successfully organized 5K Run on Oct 5th on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi at Grapevine Meadowmere Park.

Over 300 people participated from all over DFW metro in the race and enjoyed throughout the event. This is a special event that has been conducted by NATS and involved families with their kids.

NATS planned for 5K Run/walk and 1K FUN walk in professional way by providing individual identification race numbers and timing chips which tracks distance and the total time. 5K finishers received finisher medal and also top 3 finishers are awarded with medals for both male and female. Also, conducted food drive for “Salvation Army”, all collected food was donated to “Salvation Army” in Dallas. All the proceedings from this event will go to NATS Helpline.

The tournament was highly commended by all the participants and also recognized NATS commitment towards the community events and services. All the participants thanked NATS Dallas chapter committee members and volunteers for their efforts in successfully organizing this event. NATS also promised that they would conduct 5K race along with food drive on other NATS chapters in USA.

This event was sponsored by United IT Solutions, Apollo Pharmacy, Southfork Dental, Bawarchi Biryani Point - Frisco, and Techni Smart. Sponsors talked about the event and congratulated Top 3 finishers from each age group and awarded medals and also thanks to Yuva Telugu Radio and DesiPlaza for covering this event.

NATS Board of Directors (Srinivas Koneru, Vijay Velamuri), NATS Execution Committee (Rama Krishna Koganti), National Committee (Bapu Nuthi, Rajendra Madala), and Dallas chapter coordinator Mr. Srinivas Kavuri attended the event to congratulate the participants and NATS Dallas chapter for making this event such a grand success.

NATS has introduced and encouraged high school students for volunteering, thanks a lot for their support as well.

*** గాంధీ జయంతి సందర్భంగా నాట్స్ రన్ ***డాలస్ లో 5కే రన్, ఫుడ్ డ్రైవ్ విశేష స్పందన***

గాంధీ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని నాట్స్ డాలస్ చాప్టర్ రెండు విభాగాల్లో రన్ నిర్వహించింది. డాలస్ లోని గ్రేప్ వైన్ మీడోవ్మెర్ పార్క్ లో నిర్వహించిన ఈ రన్ కు మంచి స్పందన లభించింది.ఇందులో ఒకటి 5 కే రన్, మరొకొటి 1 కే రన్..దాదాపు 300 మంది ఈ రన్ లో పాల్గొన్నారు. ఉత్సాహవంతులైన యువతీ, యువకులు, చిన్నారులు కూడా ఈ రన్ లో పరుగులు పెట్టి దీనిని దిగ్విజయం చేశారు. 5 కే రన్ లో ముందుగా వచ్చిన ముగ్గురు యువతీ, యువకులకు మెడల్స్ కూడా నాట్స్ అందించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఫుడ్ డ్రైవ్ కూడా నాట్ష్ డాలస్ చాప్టర్ నిర్వహించింది. నాట్స్ హెల్ఫ్ లైన్ ద్వారా నిర్వహించిన ఈ ఈవెంట్ లో వచ్చిన నిధులు, ఆహారాన్ని సాల్వేషన్ ఆర్మీకి నాట్స్ విరాళంగా ఇచ్చింది. ఫ్రీస్కో, టెక్నీ స్మార్ట్, యునైటెడ్ ఐటి సొల్యూషన్స్, అపోలో ఫార్మసీ, సౌత్ ఫోర్క్ డెంటల్ , బావర్చి బిర్యానీ పాయింట్ లు ఈ ఈవెంట్ కు స్పాన్సర్లుగా వ్యవహరించాయి. నాట్స్ డైరెక్టర్లు శ్రీనివాస్ కోనేరు, విజయ్ వెలమూరి, నాట్స్ ఎగ్జిక్యూషన్ కమిటీ రామకృష్ణ కోగంటి, నాట్స్ నేషనల్ కమిటీ సభ్యులు బాపు నూతి, రాజేంద్ర మాదాల, నాట్స్ డాలస్ చాప్టర్ సమన్వయకర్త శ్రీనివాస్ కావూరిలు ఈ రన్ పాల్గొన్నారు. నాట్స్ తలపెట్టిన ఈ రన్ ను దిగ్విజయం చేసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరికి ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. రాజేంద్ర మాదాల, శ్రీనివాస్ కోనేరు, విజయ్ వెలమూరి, బాపు నూతి, శ్రీనివాస్ కావూరు, అజయ్ గోవాడ, రామ కృష్ణ నిమ్మగడ్డ, చైతన్య కంచర్ల, సురేంద్ర దూళిపాళ్ల, విజయ్ శేఖర్ అన్నే, వెంకట్ కొడాలి, ఆది గెల్లి, శ్రీనివాస్ శాఖమూరి, అభినవ్, శివ అగ్నూర్, రవీంద్ర చుండూరు, రవి ఎలిపి, పవన్ కొత్తూరు, మురళీ పల్లబోతుల, శ్రీధర్ విన్నమూరి తో పాటు ఇతర నాట్స్ డల్లాస్ చాప్టర్ కమిటీ సభ్యులు విజయవంతంగా ఈ టోర్నమెంట్ నిర్వహించడంలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు. హైస్కూల్ విద్యార్ధులు, వాలంటీర్లు కూడా తమ విలువైన సేవలందించి ఈ టోర్నెమెంట్ విజయానికి తోడ్పడ్డారు.
