South Plainfield, NJ: NATS (North America Telugu Society), the premier Telugu National Organization conducted a Free Medical Camp at 902 Sai Datta Petham located South Plainfield, New Jersey.

NATS, the first national Telugu Organization to come up with various timely service initiatives in the past - 24 Hours Helpline, Free Medical Camps, Free Career Assistance Programs, Immigration Seminars, Personality Development & Career Success Goals, Food Drives, Clothing drives etc..for the needy. Continuing the service saga, NATS recently came up with another service initiative which is first of its kind - Free Life Insurance to Students in USA.

This Medical Camp started sharp by 9 am with welcome note by NATS national Media Coordinator Mr.Murali Medicherla. Later NATS President Mr.Mohana Krishna Mannava briefed the various service activities initiated by NATS. Later, NATS Board of Director Mr.Gangadhar Desu mentioned about NATS ideology and principles. Several prominent doctors of multiple specialities headed by Dr. Madhu Korrapati attended this medical camp and offered their valuable services to several patients - Dr.Madhu Korrapati, Dr. Bollu Janardhan, Dr. Ramesh Raju, Dr. Latha Vasireddy, Dr. Rama Gummakonda, Dr. Nirmala Tummalapenta, Dr.Vijaya Nimma spent several hours in the medical camp and examined hundreds of patients.

NATS Board of Directors Chairman, Mr.Sam Maddali and Board of Director and Past Chairman Mr. Madhu Korrapati and Board of Ditector and Past President Gangadhar Desu and NATS Secretary Ramesh Nuthalapati talked to media about NATS and its various service initiatives.

New Jersey Assembly Public Utilities commissioner Mr.Upendra Chivukula attended the event and had some medical checkups too.

NATS CME Coordinator Dr.Suryam Ganti, Dr. Gowrham, Neurologist from Alabama also gave advises to patients for their medical concerns.

Later, Mr.Chivukula praised the idea of conducting this Medical Camp and showered praises on NATS for it's service to the community and lauded NATS for being the first Indian organization to launch a 24 hours help line (1-888-4-TELUGU) and also to launch Free life insurance program for Students.

In spite of heavy rain and bad weather conditions in New Jersey the night before, several people enthusiastically participated in the event and appreciated NATS New Jersey for this initiative.

This event is conducted by NATS President Mr.Mohana Krishna Mannava with support and help from NATS BOD and Past President - Gangadhar Desu, Ramesh Nuthalapati - NATS Secretary, Ranjit Chaganti - NATS BOD, Murali Medicherla - NATS national Media Coordinator, Srihari Mandadi - NATS North East Zonal Vice President, Vamsee Venigalla - NATS New Jersey Coordinator, Shyam Nalam - NATS New York Coordinator, Several other NATS New Jersey leaders - Vishnu Aluru, Prasad Gurram, Srinivas Venkat, Mohan Kunamaneni, Surya Guttikonda, Mohan Kumar Venigalla etc Organized this medical camp.

Guru Alampalli TFAS President, Madhu Anna TFAS Vice President, Ranga Madisetty Treasurer TFAS, Madhu Rachakulla Asst Editor Telugu Jyothi TFAS, Srinivas Gandi - NATS Past President also attended the event and extended their support to the event.

Several Prominent People like Mr.Damu Gedela attended the event. Several other attendees appreciated this initiative.

TV5 and NTV attended the event and covered the event. NATS national media chair Mr.Murali Medicherla coordinated the publicity proceedings. NATS representatives felicitated both Raghu Sarma Sankaramanchi and Madhu Anna.

In reciprocation, Raghu Sarma Sankaramanchi from Sai Datta Petham blessed and honored all the NATS Team members, Doctors and Wall Green Pharmacists with Shawl and Prasadam.

NATS Media chair Murali Medicherla proposed vote of thanks and thanked Sai Datta Petham for providing the facility for this medical camp and also for providing all logistic support.

Even though this medical camp was planned and organized in less than 1 week time, still many doctors and patients turned up for this very successful camp.

న్యూజెర్సీ సాయి దత్త పీఠం లో నాట్స్ ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరం

న్యూ జెర్సీ: సౌత్ ప్లైన్ఫీల్డ్: అమెరికాలోని తెలుగు ప్రజలకు అండగా నిలిచే నాట్స్.. న్యూజెర్సీలోని సాయి దత్త పీఠంలో ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరాన్ని నిర్వహించింది. సేవే గమ్యం అని నినదించే నాట్స్ తో కలిసి నడుస్తున్న వైద్యులు ఈ ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరంలో తమ విలువైన సేవలను ఉచితంగా అందించారు. దాదాపు 100 మందికి పైగా రోగులకు ఉచితంగా ఫ్లూ షాట్స్ అందించారు. 200 మందికి పైగా భారతీయులు ఈ వైద్య శిబిరంలో సేవలను సద్వినియోగం చేసుకున్నారు. సాటి వారికి సాయపడటమే సాయి తత్వమని చెప్పే సాయి దత్త పీఠం ఈ ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరానికి తన వంతు సహకారం అందించింది..అమెరికాలో ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరాలతో నాట్స్ తెలుగు ప్రజల గుండెల్లో సుస్థిర స్థానం సంపాదించుకుంటుని నాట్స్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ ఛైర్మన్ శ్యాం మద్ధాళి అన్నారు. మానవసేవయే మాధవ సేవ అనేది నాట్స్ నమ్ముతోందని అందుకే సేవా కార్యక్రమాలతో నాట్స్ తెలుగు వారికి చేరువైందని తెలిపారు. నాట్స్ చేపడుతున్న సేవా కార్యక్రమాలు.. హెల్ఫ్ లైన్ ద్వారా అందిస్తున్న సేవలు గురించి నాట్స్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ మోహన కృష్ణ మన్నవ అన్నారు. సేవా భావం కలిగిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరు ఇప్పుడు నాట్స్ తో కలిసి అడుగులు వేసేందుకు ముందుకు వస్తున్నారని మోహన కృష్ణ మన్నవ అన్నారు.. నాట్స్ బోర్డ మాజీ ఛైర్మన్, బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ డైరక్టర్ డాక్టర్ మధు కొర్రపాటి ఈ వైద్య శిబిరంలో తన మిత్రబృందమైన డా. బొల్లు జనార్థన్, డా. రాజు రమేష్, డా. వాసిరెడ్డి లత, డా. గుమ్మకొండ రమ, డా. తుమ్మలపెంట నిర్మల, డా. నిమ్మ విజయ విలువైన వైద్య సేవలు అందించారు. న్యూజెర్సీ అసెంబ్లీ డిప్యూటీ స్పీకర్ ఉపేంద్ర చివుకుల నాట్స్ పై ప్రశంసల వర్షం కురిపించారు. సేవే లక్ష్యంగా తెలుగు ప్రజలకు నాట్స్ అనేక సేవలు అందిస్తుందని ఇది మరెన్నో తెలుగు సంఘాలకు స్ఫూర్తి నిస్తుందన్నారు. ఇదే వేదికపై చివుకుల ఉపేంద్ర 40 వ వివాహ వార్షికోత్సవ వేడుకను కూడా నిర్వహించారు. అమెరికా రాజకీయాల్లో రాణిస్తున్న ఉపేంద్ర చివుకుల యావత్ తెలుగుజాతికి గర్వకారణమైన వ్యక్తి అని నాట్స్ ప్రతినిధులు కొనియాడారు. నాట్స్ ఉచిత వైద్య శిబిరం విజయవంతం కావడానికి నాట్స్ ప్రతినిధులు.. నాట్స్ సెక్రటరీ రమేష్ నూతలపాటి, నాట్స్ నేషనల్ మీడియా కోఆర్డినేటర్ మేడిచెర్ల మురళీకృష్ణ, నాట్స్ న్యూ జెర్సీ కోఆర్డినేటర్ వెనిగళ్ల వంశీకృష్ణ, నార్త్ ఈస్ట్ జోనల్ వైస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ శ్రీహరి మందాడి , న్యూ యార్క్ కోఆర్డినేటర్ నాళం శ్యామ్, ఆలూరు విష్ణు, గుర్రం ప్రసాద్, వెంకట్ శ్రీనివాస్, కుమ్మనేని మోహన్, గుత్తికొండ సూర్య,వెనిగళ్ల మోహన్ కుమార్ తదితరులు ఎంతగానో కృషి చేశారు. స్వచ్ఛందంగా సేవలందించేందుకు ముందుకొచ్చిన నాట్స్ వాలంటీర్ల ను నాట్స్ నాయకత్వం అభినందించింది. సాయి దత్త పీఠం నిర్వహకులు రఘుశర్మ శంకరమంచి అందించిన సహకారాన్ని నాట్స్ ప్రశంసించింది.
