TANA (Telugu Association of North America) in association PATA (Pittsburgh Area Telugu Association) organized Diwali and Hudhud relief fundraiser in SV Temple, Pittsburgh on Saturday 8th November 2014. More than 250 people attended the event. Singers Vijayalakshmi & Rahul Sipligunj attended & performed in the event.

The event started with a prayer by Sri Venkatachari Samudrala garu Head Priest of SV temple and PATA President Mrs. Arundhathi Mandava welcomed the audience and thanked TANA for organizing the event.

TANA President Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni attended as chief guest along with TANA Secretary Satish Vemana, TANA Mid-Atlantic Regional Representative Ravi Potluri, Srini Yalavarthy, Nagaraju Nalajala, Ramu Jakkampudi, Vamsi Surampalli, Anand Mummidi & Rajesh Challa. A special video on TANA screened and TANA President Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni gave the captivating speech explaining the various charitable activities TANA has conducted in USA and India over past 37 years and explaining the necessity of taking the membership in TANA and invited the audience to the 20th TANA conference which will be held from July 2nd to 4th 2015 in Cobo Center, Detroit, MI.

Mr. Mohan Nannapaneni requested all attendees to come forward and donate generously towards Hudhud relief fund. All attendees donated generously and approx. $10,000 was collected on the spot. Sri Atluri of Atluri Bhavani Charitable Trust donated 1500$ and Dr. Anjaneyulu Karumudi & Anuradha donated 1000$ for this noble cause. TANA thanks all donors for their generosity and assures funds will be utilized properly and reaches to the needy directly. TANA already announced initial contribution of 100,000 USD towards the relief efforts. Audience appreciated

TANA’s efforts for bringing the program to execution and for the contributions to the community. Program ended with a vote of thanks from followed by India National Anthem.

This event was planned and coordinated by Ravi Potluri & Sri Atluri in association with PATA (Pittsburgh Area Telugu Association) - Arundhathi Mandava, Ramani Yadla, Raja reddy Vanageti and Dr. Ravi Kolli.

TANA celebrated "Swara Tarangini" Musical concerts across USA in the following cities. October 4th – King of Prussia, PA October 11th - Raleigh, October 12th - Charlotte, October 18th - Chicago, October 25th - Detroit, October 26th- Omaha, NE, October 26th - Des Moines, Iowa and November 1st – Boston, Novermber 8th – Pittsburgh and Novermber 9th – Jacksonville. More than 5000 people attended for these events.
