The much awaited movie of the year 2010, “Simhaa” shattered the Telugu Film Industry first week records by collection 26.48 Crores World Wide. We (Jagadheesh Cherukuri and Rakesh Battineni) have Exhibited the movie in Virginia and are overwhelmed by the reponse. As a token of gift and also to celebrate the huge success of the movie, we(Mr. Rakesh Battineni ,Mr. Janardhan Nimmalapudi , and Mr. Krishna Lam) organized a gathering in Virginia.

Sri Mulpuri Venkat Rao Garu (TANA Trustee and also the producer of the films Top Hero and Devudu with Balakrishna), Naren Kodali (TANA Trustee), Harish Koya (Vice President, American Solutions) are few of the prominent guests at the gathering.

The program started with “Commemoration of NTR” and followed by cake cutting event by Mr. Mulpuri Venkat Rao Garu. Speaking on the occasion, Mulpuri Venkat Rao Gaaru shared his personal experiences with the Legend Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and Nandamuri BalakrishnaDr. He praised the charity work by the great Legendary NTR garu during the Rayalaseema Famine, Diviseema cyclone, Indo-Pak war, Cancer Hospital, NTR Trust, Balayya’s contributions to recent Flood relief and TARAK's education programs for the poor students. Naren Kodali spoke few words about the film Simha and its success journey. Dr. Naren Kodali applauded the charitable gesture shown by Virginia Nandamuri Fans

Besides celebrating the movies success, we have also turned this event into a Fund Raiser. Thanks to Janardhan Nimmalapudi, for donating a T-Shirt signed by NTR Jr. to the auction. The T-Shirt was auctioned for $1832.00 and Mulpuri Venkat Rao gaaru donated Rs.1,00,000 as a charity. In total $4500.00 were collected as a part of the fund raiser. The entire proceeds of the event will be used for education to the poor children. The response to the event was amazing and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making the event a huge success.

Finally thanks to Pradeep Gourneni and Vemana Satheesh for providing dinner for the event. Concluding the event Rakesh Battineni ,Janardhan ,Krishna, thanked the chief guests, Fans, donors and other contributors for this event.
