About film:

Vandemataram - who entered the tinsel town as the singer with Vandemataram song in Vandemataram film directed by T Krishna - emerged as a popular music director with musical blockbusters like Osey Ramulamma, Swayamvaram and Girl Friend. Now he is testing the waters as an actor with a film titled as 'Ammulu' on his home banner 'Sahiti Chitra'.

This film is about a small girl called Ammulu and her bond with an auto driver called Kittayya. Ammulu is an orphan whose parents are murdered. Kittayya takes care of the baby girl and helps the mystery behind her parent's death.

L Srinath - who directed a film titled Kubusam in the past - is directing this film. Baby Grishma plays the title role of Ammulu. Suman and Ravali make guest appearances as parents of Ammulu. Brahmanandam, MS Narayana and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam play comedy roles in Ammulu. Paruchuri brothers provide screenplay.
