Story:
This film is about an encounter specialist called Ramachandra
IPS, whose mission is clean up the city, by hook or crook.
He chooses the path of ruthless killing in the form of encounter
to eliminate the anti social elements who are threatening
to create havoc in the city. Asin plays school teacher -
a soft lady. This film has romantic angle where a soft-hearted
lady falls in love with cold-blooded gun-trotting encounter
specialist. Later on she marries the hero.

Gowtam Menon is a much sought after director these days
with a film each lined up with Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan
as heroes. He shot to fame with his love triangle 'Minnale'
(Cheli in Telugu) that sported Madhavan and Reema Sen. Then
he did an action film titled 'Kakha Kakha' with Surya and
Jyothika in the main leads. This film is now been remade
as 'Gharshana' in Telugu. Harris Jayaraj's music for this
film has become a rage with 3 popular songs being recomposed
in Telugu. Salim - who acted as villain in Teja's Jai -
is doing the main villain in this film. Siva Raju and Venkat
Raju who delivered blockbusters like Pavitra Bhandam and
Pelli Chesukundam with Venkatesh in the past are producing
'Gharshana'. Yana Gupta (Babuji song fame) has done an item
song in this film.
