Story inspired by a real incident:
The story of the film is inspired by a real incident. It is a love story between a Tamil girl and Telugu boy who are pursuing their graduation abroad. They face hardships and then fall in love. Then a beautiful twist separates them. Since the title is Gnapakam, one can predict that this film deals with something related to memory loss.
Director:
Director Uppalapati Narayana Rao says that people are blindly believing in things like astrology and numerology when they become more educated. This film will prove that love is far more powerful than blind believes. Narayana Rao directed successful films of Nagarjuna like Jaitra Yatra and Rakshana.
Hero:
Atluri Venkateswara Rao - a 23 year B Tech graduate - is making his debut as hero with this film. When asked why he preferred such long screen name he said that it is the name of his grandfather and he would not want to tamper with it.
Heroine:
Visakha Singh is a Delhi based model who acted in various popular ad commercials like Sunsilk, D’mas Jewelry, Medimix, Motorola Motophone etc. She acted in a couple of Hindi films which are due for the release in July/June. This is her first Telugu film.

Chakradhar Paturi and Kongara Subhashini jointly produce this film on Jermantown Entertainments banner. Jerman Town Entertainments is planning to produce films in various regional languages and it tying up with Mumbai based ‘Pixion Studios’ for production, post production and marketing.
