Shyam Prasad Reddy is known for extravagant taste in filmmaking. This film is shot in 264 working days (an average film of this nature should not take more than 70-80 days). It is 28 months since the film was launched. This film has been produced over two and half years. This film was started with a budget of 4 crores and Shyam Prasad Reddy ended up spending over 13 crores. The raw film exposed for this film is 3.2 lacs (it takes less than 1 lac for any normal film).

A dilapidated fort near Banaganapaly was hired and modified to suit the 1920’s look. A garden is developed over a period of 2 months. Sonu Sood’s character has less screen space, but his voice would be heard more. Just like MS Reddy character in Ankusam, the character of Sayaji Shinde will also be positive and helpful to heroine’s character.
