DV Narasa Raju is no more

DV Narasaraju

Popular film writer DV Narasa Raju died on the morning (2:30 am) of August 28 at Hyderabad. He was admitted into CARE Hospital 15 days back due to illness. He was 86 six years and was survived by a daughter (Kavitha). Popular actor Suman married the granddaughter of DV Narasaraju. Incidentally birthday of his daughter and Suman are 28th August. His body will be kept at his residence in Road No. 2, Banjara Hills on Tuesday and his body will be cremated at Bansilal cemetery on the same day.

He was born on 15th July in 1920 in mUthyalampadu (Krishna district). His play ‘Natakam’ was screened in 1951 during the 100 days function of Pathala Bhairavi film. After watching that play KV Reddy invited Narasaraju to film industry. He worked for Peddamanushulu film in 1954. He worked for 92 films which includes blockbusters like Donga Ramudu, Raja Makutam, Gundamma Katha, Bhakta Prahlada, Rangula Ratnam, Ramu, Yama Gola and Manasu Mamata. He also directed a film titled Karu Diddina Kapuram. He played a character in Chevilo Puvvu film. He recently contributed to the script work of Maya Bazaar (Raja, Bhumika).
