Matru Devo Bhava, one of most memorable Telugu films of all time, will soon be remade in Bhojpuri. The film was originally made in Malayalam as Akashadoothu and it was later remade in Telugu as Matru Devo Bhava in 1993. Madhavi and Nassar had played the lead roles in this melodrama and K Ajaykumar had directed it. K S Rama Rao had produced the film. After almost twenty years, this film will now be remade in Bhojpuri. Jayaprada is going to play the lead role in the film and she's also going to produce the film. Leading Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari has been finalized to play the lead role opposite Jayaprada. Dinkar Kapoor is going to direct this film. After her active role in politics, Jayaprada is planning to make a strong comeback in films and she's planning to produce more films in future.
