Ram Charan, Kajal and Amala Paul starrer Naayak will be shot in Kolkata from October 12 onwards. A major schedule of the film was shot in Kolkata earlier this year and once again director V V Vinayak has opted to shoot few more scenes in the city. Recently, the film was shot in Ramoji Film City, Kompally and few other areas in Hyderabad. DVV Danayya is producing the film. S S Thaman has composed and Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer. The film is slated for release on January 9, 2013.
