On the eve of Nandi award winner announcement, idlebrain.com is in the process of contacting the winners and getting their response.

Nagarjuna: (Best Leading Actor) - Santosham gaa vundi

Nagarjuna expressed his happiness over getting the best leading actor Nandi award through Santosham film. Speaking to the idlebrain.com, Nagarjuna said 'Santosham dwara best leading actor award andukovadam chala santosham gaa vundi'. However, he also expressed surprise at an award being shared with another actor, as it happened for the first time in Nandi awards history. However, the people in film industry felt that it would be a happy moment for both Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna because they share good friendship and they do not have any ego.

Sravanthi Ravi Kishore: (2nd best feature film) - 3 awards in a row for 3 years

This is the third award that I got in a row. I got best regional film(National Award) for Nuvve Kavaali in Year 2000 and Best home viewing feature film(Nandi Award) for Nuvvu Naaku Nachav in year 2001. Now I got second best feature film award for Nuvve Nuvve (Nandi) for the year 2002. I am feeling extremely happy for the award and the credit should go to the entire team. Ela Cheppanu is due for release and I am expecting many more awards and rewards for this film too as well.

Trivikram: (Best dialogue writer) - Feeling more happy for Manmadhudu & NuvveNuvve getting awards

I am extremely happy and it is a pleasant surprise as I am not expecting any award and it is third award for me in a row. I got Nandi award earlier for Chiru Navvuto (2000) and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav(2001). More than my personal achievement, I am really feeling happy for Manmadhudu and Nuvve Nuvve getting the 1st and 2nd best feature film award and I am part of the team. I would like to thank idlebrain.com through which many of my friends in US come to know about me much faster.

MM Keeravani: (Best music director) - 7th Nandi award for Keeravani

Idlebrain.com contacted Keeravani - who is currently in Chennai - and took his response. This is his 7th Nandi award. He got 5 Nandi awards as Music Director (Rajeswari Kalyanam, Mathrudevobhava, Subhasankalpam, Pelli Sandadi, Allari Priyudu) and 1 Nandi award as the singer (Yekkado Putti - Student No.1). He has given good music for 'Okato Number Kurradu', but felt that it was 'boodidalo posina panneeru' when the film bit the dust. But today Keeravani is feeling good that 'boodida has turned out to be Vibhoodi'. His personal choices are 'Orey Nuvvu Naaku' and 'Nanu Choodu choodakapo' songs. When asked about the Nandi award winning probable albums he has done in this year so far, he replied that he has 'Gangotri', Okarikokaru and Seetayya. He opined that Gangotri music has got all chances to win Nandi next year.

Chandra Bose: (Best lyricist) - its my dream come true

I have been in industry since 1996 and I am dreaming to get an award for the last 2 to 3 years. Last year I expected the award for Yekkado putti yekkado perigi (Student No1) and I felt disappointed as I did not get the award for that song. This year I could fulfill my dream. Actually I have two dreams, one is to get the Nandi award and the other one is to get the national award. Since I have fulfilled my first dream now I should try to fulfill my second one. This year I am expecting award for song on telugu language in Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu, Samayaaniki in Seetayya and Nuvve Naa swaasa in Okari ki Okaru.

Usha: (Best female playback singer) - this song got more response in USA

This is the second consecutive award for me. The song Chinuku thadiki did not get the recognition that it should have got as Nee Sneham did not do well at box office. When I went to stage shows in US people requested me for this song and then I realized that this song was liked by the people. I am extremely happy and feeling proud to get this award.

Suneetha: (Best female dubbing artist) - want to get an award as a singer

Suneetha - who made her debut as a playback singer with Gulabi film - has become the most sought after female dubbing artist now. When asked by idlebrain.com about the response, she said she is happy. But she wanted to be known as best singer than best dubbing artist. She is looking forward for the day when she is going to win Nandi award as the best singer.
