Dr. Ramineni Ayyanna Chowdary belongs to Brahmana Koduru. He went to USA 50 years back and flourished in business. He later developed his hometown Brahmana Koduru and encouraged educational activities in Guntur district. He established Dr Ramineni Foundation USA in 1999 and started giving awards to the Telugu achievers in various fields. He also started giving medals and scholarships to various toppers in Guntur area.

AVS is the convener of this foundation and he held a press meet announcing the winners of awards for this year. This meet is also attended by Dharmapracharak and Vedacharya (sons of Ramineni Ayyanna Chowdary). Here is the list of winners

The jury that selected the winners include Dr. Gullapudi Nageswara Rao, K Ramachandra Murthy and BV Pattabhi Ram.

These awards will be presented on 12 October at a function arranged in Satyasai Nigamagam. There will be a classical concert by playback singer Unni Krishnan. Toppers of 10th class from all the 52 mandals of Guntur will also be honored on this occasion.
