100 days function of Ravi Teja’s latest blockbuster ‘Vikramarkudu’ was held in Taj Residency Hotel, Hyderabad on the night of 15th October. This function is attended by Ileana, Dasari, K Raghavendra Rao, D Rama Naidu, Ghanta Srinivas, Arjuna Raju, Sagar, B Gopal, EVV, Doraswamy Raju, Allu Arjun, AK Khan, D Suresh Babu and Gangaraju Gunnam.

The entire cast and crewmembers attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Dasari said, “Telugu film industry is going to complete 75 years on 22nd of December this year. The year 2006 turned out to be very eventful year for Telugu film industry as many films became successful. This year too, Telugu film’s stamina has increased by leaps. I watched Vikramarkudu film. It is a result of teamwork. Rajamouli is a protégé of me and K Raghavendra Rao. We are proud of him. He has a great command on script. Vikramarkudu is the career best film of Ravi Teja in terms of histrionics. Keeravani music has the standard of yesteryears music directors like Ramesh Nayudu and Pendyala. Ajay who did the role of villain is excellent. His characterization and get-up is great. Rajiv Kanakala gave wonderful output in his scenes.”

Producer ML Kumar Chowdary said, “I would like to thank Vijayendra Prasad who set this project up. Vikramarkudu completed 50 days and 100 days in 200 and 50 centers respectively. Initially this film got 5-6 weeks talk. But we were convinced that Vikramarkudu is a hit. It was Dasari who called us at that time and confirmed that Vikramarkudu would become a big hit. We would like to thank him for his moral support.”

Guest AK Khan (ACP) said, “The producer ML Kumar Chowdary previewed the film to us before the release. This film has a good cop role. We observe 21st of October as ‘Policula Amara Veerula Dinostavam’. And we screen seven films in Lilatha Kala Thoranam on this occasion. I recommended Vikramarkudu film as one of these seven films. I liked a dialogue in this film that goes like ‘Police Uniform kooda duty chestundi.’ I would like to thank the unit of Vikramarkudu on behalf of police department for showing cops in a good light.”

Director Rajamouli said, “I extracted lot of work from technicians. I made them slog in summer. As a token of appreciation, I displayed their photographs at this venue. Vikram Rathod character is close to our heart and I was biased towards that character. But Athili Sathibabu character did the trick and helped the film commercially. I would like to thank Dasari for gracing 100 days function of this film after Student No.1.”
