The muhurat function of Anjana Productions venture with Chiranjeevi as hero took place at a floor in Annapurna studios. VN Aditya directs this film. Poori Jagannath switched on camera. K Raghavendra Rao gave clap on the photos of Gods.

This function is attended by all the producers of Chiranjeevi like Aswini Dutt, Shyam Prasad Reddy, KS Rama Rao, Vijaya Bapineedu, T Trivikrama Rao and Allu Arvind. The other celebrities who graced the occasion were Pawan Kalyan, D Suresh Babu, Uday Kiran, Ravi Teja, Brahmaji, Allu Ramalingaiah, MS Raju, Mani Sharma, Paruchuri brothers, Satyanand, Sai Baba, Burugapally Sivarama Krishna, Gemini Kiran, K Venkat Rao, Brahmanandam etc.

Pawan Kalyan remained as the special attraction for this muhurat shot as the photographers chased him whereever he went to capture in their cameras.

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said that he worked for Anajana banner for the first time with Bavagaru Bagunnara. This is the second film for the Paruchuri brothers in Anjana banner. They are doing the script work. He mentioned that Chiranjeevi has great comedy timing. This film offers total entertainment.

Paruchuri Gopala Krishna remembered his 23 years of association with Allu Rama Lingaiah. He also said that their first introduction lead to a conflict. Allu Rama Lingaiah refused to utter a dialogue 'chetta naa kodakaa' written by Paruchuri brothers for a film. Later on they became good friends.

Speaking on this occasion, a beamingly happy director VN Aditya said that it's a long cherished dream for him to direct Chiranjeevi, who inspired him to get attracted to films and enter the film industry with his charismatic presence on the screen. VN Aditya remembered his days in Vijayawada where he used to queue up in the theaters when a Chiranjeevi's film was releasing. VN Aditya felt that his 75 days of association with Chiranjeevi while working as an associate for Bavagaru Bagunnara were the most satisfying ones. He is extremely happy to direct Chiranjeevi in such a short span and assured that he would honestly give his best to make the best use of opportunity given to him.

Allu Arvind explained the details of this film. Chiranjeevi's image went to sky level with Indra's portrayal. His mass image is going to get more enhanced with 'Tagore' film. Hence at this point, Chiranjeevi felt that there should be an entertainment-oriented film so that it becomes a welcoming break for the audience. The entertainment in this film would in the style of Chiranjeevi's past films like Donga Mogudu, Gharana Mogudu and Annayya.

Since Anjana productions would be doing two projects simultaneously (one each with Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan), production responsibilities would be shared by Naga Babu and Allu Arvind.

Allyu Arvind categorically mentioned that this film is not a remake of 'Mr. Brahmachari', but only the basic storyline is taken as the inspiration. Paruchuri brothers have reworked on the script and Chitapally Ramana would be writing dialogues for this film.

3-4 days of shooting would take place in this month. The next schedule would start from 15th May 2003. The shooting of this film would be completed by the month of September. This film would release after that.
