Music launch of Nitin’s latest film Drona was held at Club Jayabheri on the night of 9 January 2009. K Raghavendra Rao launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to EVV Satyanarayana and N Suryaprakasa Rao. C Kalyan launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to EVV.

Speaking on the occasion EVV said, “Nitain maintains new get-up for each and every film. He will become a big hero if he goes to Hindi film industry. Pryamani did well in this film. Anoop is a good music director.”

Nukarapu Suryaprakasa Rao said, “Anoop worked as keyboard player in Holi film. I told him that he would become a good music director. I am sure that Nitin and Priyamani did well in this film.”

C Kalyan said that he is impressed with the photocards of this film.

Music director Anoop said that he did six songs and one remix for this album.

Producer DS Rao said, “I distributed a few Nitin’s films in the past. I wanted to make a film with him. I gave complete freedom to the director. We did a set in the middle of sea in Gokarna. Though we faced hurdles, we could able to complete the film in time. Nitin did dance well in this film.”

Director Karuna Kumar said, “I made this film in my guru Rajamouli’s style. The songs are going to be highlight of this film. The episodes involving set erected in sea are going to get lots of applause. I am confident that all our efforts will convert into fruitful results.”
