Music of Eenadu (a remake of A Wednesday) was launched at a function organized in Taj Banjara on the night of 12 September. K Raghavendra Rao, family of Kamal Hassan (Kamal Hassan, Gowtami, Shruti Hassan, Akshara and Subbalakshmi), Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Achi Reddy and Venkatesh attended this function. A music video scored by Shruti Hassan, sung by Subba Lakshmi and choreographed by Akshara was shown at the venue (click here to view music video). Gowtami dubbed for a character in the movie.

Gowtami said, "I am also associated with Eenadu because I dubbed for a character. Eenadu is an important movie for my family members Shruthi and Akshara. I am proud of their work. Eenadu is a small beginning for them and they will achieve glory in the future."

Venkatesh said, "Shruthi did wonderful music for Eenadu. There is lot of scope for background music in the film. There are not many scenes in my combination with Kamal Hassna in this movie. It was a wonderful feeling to work with Kamal Hassan. Debutant director Chakri handled the direction well. I am looking forward for the release on 18 September."

Kamal Hassan said, "Venky worked like a friend throughout the film. There is no involvement in music of this film and Shruti did it independently. I am pleasantly surprised and am proud of her work. Shruthi is signed for this film not because she is my daughter, but because of her merit. We did a promotional video and it has nothing to do with the movie. It's just like Madonna doing a song to promote Quantum of Solace movie. Most of the people might be thinking that Eenadu is an experimental film. I would like to clarify that it is a commercial film. Chakri Toleti did a bad photography in Sagara Sangamam film and did good direction in Eenadu."
