Popular comedy-savvy director EVV Satyanarayana today released the music of Uday Kiran's film Gunde Jhallumandi at an impressive function held at Prasad Labs preview theatre, Hyderabad. The film made on United Movies banner is being produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad and direction is by Madan (of Aa Naluguru fame as writer). Highlight is that its music is scored by melody king MM Keeravani, for the first time for Uday Kiran's project. EVV formally launched the audio, presenting the first CD to hotshot director SS Rajamouli. The starlit gathering included Keeravani, KS Rama Rao, Uday Kiran, debut heroine Aditi Sharma, G. Ramprasad, Sivasakti Dutta, ML Kumar Chowdary and others.

The music release function was arranged in an interesting manner as the speakers chose to narrate their first experience with love. They shared their feelings – as to when their heart got passionately moved (Gunde Jallumanela jarigina sangatana with reference to love).

Rajamouli said: "Mine was a love marriage. When I was in love with a girl, we we were in a state of fix as to whether the parents of both sides would agree to our love and get us united. What should we do when our parents do not agree to our love? That was the burning issue between us. The girl asked me the same thing. I simply said: We could get last and forget each other. Immediately, she slapped me so hard – that Naa Gunde Jhallumandi. I truly started taking love seriously and understood the passion she held for me. In the course of time, she became my wife and everything was fine."

Uday Kiran said: "The very title of the film – Gunde Jhallumandi – makes my heart turn pungent. It's a jhalak to my heart when I hear the response about the film from others. I am happy to be doing this film in the direction of Madan garu and first time with music director Keeravani garu. I am confident that the film would sure the audiences in such a way that – valla gundelu jhallumantayi."

Keeravani came out with a little bit curious episode: "When I was doing Kshana Kshanam, I happened to see a couple of girls as part of marriage proposals. During this period, I was in Rajahmundry. One day, I saw a girl from the back. The same girl I saw when I went to their house for marriage proposal. When I saw her, she was like a Sridevi. Appudu naa gunde jhallumandi. Later, we frequently quarrel in the lighter vein mostly out of love and affection towards each other. Each time, my wife gets compromised, naa gunde jhallumantundhi."

Director Madan said: "Love is an everlasting subject and lovers speak the language of hearts. During my college days, one of my friends loved a girl. The same girl was loved by another friend of mine. In fact, both the lovers were good friends. Though the girl loved one among them, they remained friendly forever, and still. It makes me very happy. This is one of the memorable occasions about my encounters with love. Definitely, Gunde Jhallumandi will give a pleasant experience to the youth audiences and family audiences as well with superb entertainment values."

All the speakers on this occasion wished the team of Gunde Jhallumandi a grand success. The film is set for release by month end.
