Music of Dasari Narayana’s latest acting and directorial venture Mesthri was launched at a function organized in Taj Deccan on the night of 23 February. Mohan Babu, Srihari, Vijay Kumar, Sayaji Shinde and Jayasudha released a song each. D Rama Naidu, DVS Raju and K Raghavendra Rao received the songs. KS Rama Rao, Rajasekhar, Devi Vara Prasad, R Narayana Murthy and Jeevitha also attended this function.

All the cast and crewmembers wore Mestri outfits to this function. Dasari acted as an anchor and explained the nuances of each and every song of the film by showing the clippings. The music of this film is being released through Maithri audio. And each cassette and CD of this film is priced at an affordable price of Rs. 9.99/-. Dasari is releasing 5 lacs of units in the first bunch.
