Lux, 24 Frames Factory and Sprint Telefilms (P) Ltd., announce the launch of the mega reality show Lux Dreamgirl amid great fanfare and extensive participation from the who's who of Telugu film industry today. Conceptualized by 24 frames Factory and Sprint Telefilms (P) Ltd, and sponsored by Lux, Dreamgirl is an intense 8-week, activity-oriented talent hunt, to search for the girl who will star in the next Manchu Vishnu Starrer and take the Telugu film audiences by a storm. Aimed at searching not only for a talented actress, but also for the ideal woman who is beautiful, intelligent and socially conscientious, Lux Dreamgirl is touted to be the first event of its kind and an idea that is so different and original that it will hold audiences in total rapture. This (16-episode mega venture will be aired tm Gemini TV starting April 16th and is being directed by Chunia of Yuva fame and conceptualized by Snigdha Mulukutla of Sprint Telefilms.

12 beautiful aspirants will be short listed from enthusiasts across the state to compete for the enviable position of becoming the Lux Dreamgirl and the sweetheart of Tolllywood audiences. “Being an actress is much more than just enacting scenes and dancing, it's about connecting with your audiences and to be able to do that you have to be intelligent and empathetic. The concept has been planned very creatively, and never before has the search for the ideal woman been so innovative and interesting.

Ms. Nikitha, Heroine of Hit Films like Sambaram, Don and many more blockbusters in the Telugu Film Industry will host the show.

Popular Actress and Heroine Ms Sneha is making her small screen debut with this show and will play the role of the mentor for the entire series. She will be seen playing a key role in offering advice and moral support to the participants.

The panel of permanent judges of the show includes:

Mr. Hemanth Madhukar, Director; Hemanth is the director ot the most recent Vishnu Manchu hit flick Vasthaadu Na Raju. Having tasted success with his Maiden venture, Hemanth would also be directing Vishnu in his next venture also.

Mr. S. Gopal Reddy, Cinematographer, Producer and Directors; After having spent more than three decades behind the camera and some illustrious years as director and producer also S Gopal Reddy, the man who contributed to the stupendous success of movies like Shiva, Santosham, Prema Tho Raa and Sri Ramadasu is a member of the Permanent Judges Panel.

Every episode will also have a special celebrity guest judge apart from the above panel.
