Launch of Allu Arjun's second film as hero was held today at Annapurna Studios with a great fanfare. A rally of 30 cars was arranged from Film Nagar to Annapurna by Allu Arjun Yuva Sena. More than 1000 fans from all over AP came to Annapurna studios for this event.

Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and K Raghavendra Rao attended this function to do the honors. Chiranjeevi clapped on the lead pair Allu Arjun and Anu Mehta. Pawan Kalyan switched on camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. All Chiranjeevi's producers like Shyam Prasad Reddy, Allu Arvind, Aswini Dutt, Vijaya Bapineedu, B Madhu, Editor Mohan etc graced this event.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Raju said that the entire team of this film consists of young guys with lots of energy. This film is having a college backdrop. And Allu Arjun is playing a peppy and jolly character. Heroine Anu Mehta is basically a Delhi based model who did work for lots of ads like Kit Kat. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music and recording of 2 songs are over. Ratnavelu - a cinematographer who worked for 6 Tamil films including Sethu, Nanda and Jayam - is making his debut in Telugu with this film. This film would be shot exclusively Hyderabad, Vizag and Kerala. This film would be having six full songs and one bit song. The producer is aiming to release this film on 27th March 2004.

Allu Arjun increased my confidence levels - Director Sukumar
Debutant director Sukumar said that he was associated in direction departments for the films made by Editor Mohan and VV Vinayak and it was VV Vinayak who recommended him to the producer Raju. He thanked Allu Arjun for keeping faith and him and for increasing his confidence levels by giving constant encouragement.

Liked the script immensely - Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun spoke very fluently and naturally with the press. He said that he made himself busy in listening to various stories every day. When he was feeling restless for not being able to chose the exciting story, Sukumar and Raju approached him and asked him to give an audience. He liked the script immensely and asked his father Allu Arvind to listen to the story. And Allu Arvind was also excited. Then he directed Sukumar to meet Chiranjeevi and narrate the story. Chiranjeevi liked the story and suggested few changes. That's how the film is materialized. Arjun said that music director is a family friend since childhood and he is very happy to be working with Devi Sri Prasad. Allu Arjun said that Chiranjeevi complimented producer Raju for being the producer who involves himself in every aspect of filmmaking.

Close to my heart - Anu Mehta
Anu Mehta said that she is making her debut into feature films with this project and the character she is playing is close to her heart. She did lot of modeling and acted in many commercial ads.

Meeting Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan is happiest moment - Siva Balaji
Siva Balaji - of Idhi maa Ashok Gaadi Love Story - said that he is doing a role that has slightly negative shades in it. He is feeling lucky to be associated with this project. More importantly, he said that he is feeling really happy to have met Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in flesh and blood for the first time.

Feeling good to work with Bunny - Devi Sri Prasad
Devi Sri Prasad said that sons of Allu Arvind - Bunny (Allu Arjun) and Sirish - used to come his house in Madras when they were children and they used to play music instruments. He said that he is feeling good to work with his buddy Allu Arjun. He said that there is ample scope for making music an integral part of the film.
