The muhurat of Kalyan Ram's 3rd film as hero 'Athanokkade' was held in a grand function held at Annapurna studios on the morning of 15th of November 2004. This film is being produced on Kalyan Ram's home banner 'NTR Arts'. The following celebrities did the honors for the muhurat -

Speaking on this occasion dialogue writer Marudhuri Raja said that Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is doing the role of an angry emotional young man. The story of this film supports the body language of Kalyan Ram. Debutant director Surendar prepared a perfect screenplay. Marudhuri Raja said that the director approached with complete script which made the job of dialogue writer easier. There would be gripping suspense in the film which would make the audience glue to their seats.

Debutant director Surender said that he worked with the director T Prabhakar for 9 years. The shooting would start now and have continuous schedules till March 2005. This film would have 6 tunes scored by Mani Sharma. Sindhu Tolani (Aithe fame) is paired up with Kalyan Ram in this film. 'Athanokkade' is expected to release for Summer 2005.
