Muhurat of Gireesh Pictures Production No. 1 was held at Sanghi Temple on 2nd May 2004. Gireesh Sanghi of Vaartha Newspaper is entering into film production with this film. Sachin and Sandali Sinha are playing mainleads in the film that is being directed by SV Krishna Reddy.

Chiranjeevi sounded the clap board. D Suresh Babu switched on the camera. Ramya Krishna lighted the Jyothi. SV Krishna Reddy directed the first shot. The celebrities that graced this occasion include MS Reddy, T Trivikrama Rao, Arjuna Raju, C Aswini Dutt, KC Sekhara Babu, Gemini Kiran, Dr. KL Narayana, Ashok Kumar, Jeevita Raja Sekhar and C Kalyan.

Gireesh Sanghi said that his father was involved with film industry. His father started a film distribution agency called 'Gireesh Pictures' in Hyderabad around 45 years back. He distributed the first talkie film 'Alam Ara' for Nizam state. He distributed more than 100 films at that time. Later on they shifted their lines of businesses for commercial viability. Gireesh Sanghi said that he is only reviving the 'Gireesh Pictures'. He said that 'Gireesh Picture' would have social responsibility of making films that not only provides entertainment, but also give some beneficial message to the society.

Director SV Krishna Reddy, hero Sachin, Heroine Sandali Sinha, dialogue writer Chintapally Ramana, story writer Satyanand, editor KV Krishna Reddy, Achi Reddy and music director Raaj Anand Raaj also spoke on this occasion.
