The opening of Vyjayanthi Movies next venture Jai Chiranjeeva was done on a grand scale at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The film directed by Vijaybhaskar will star Chiranjeevi, Sameera Reddy and Bhoomika Chawla in the lead. The studio was decorated colorfully and with bright flowers and banners. Everyone present was waiting for the proceedings to start.

Dasari Narayana Rao was one of the many guests to attend the function. Ex- Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was the chief guest. Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave the muhurath clap, while Venkatesh switched on the camera and Subbirami Reddy directed the first shot.

Talking to the guest Chiranjeevi said, "I wish everyone a happy and prosperous Ugadi, I wish this film will be as successful as my previous ventures with Vyjayanthi Movies." The other guests wished the whole team a grand success.
